Accessible Travel

Wheelchair or not,
your whole family
travels together.

An accessible taxi only carries one family at a time. If several people in your group use a wheelchair, charter one of our lift-equipped buses instead — everyone rides together, from weddings and memorial visits to family trips and day-service transport.

Occasions

Chosen for moments like these

For people who thought a wheelchair meant giving up on travel altogether.

Weddings & Receptions

Several wheelchair users in the family? Get everyone to the celebration in one bus, together.

Memorial & Grave Visits

Family gatherings with elderly relatives. Step-free boarding makes the trip safe and easy for everyone.

Family Trips & Day Outings

A wheelchair doesn't mean travel is off the table — the whole family can enjoy the trip together.

Facility & Group Transport

Day-service centers, care facilities and support schools. Staff are welcome to ride along too.

Ceremonies & Events

Award ceremonies, reunions, graduation trips — a barrier-free ride so everyone can take part.

Why it often costs less than several accessible taxis

An accessible taxi can only carry a limited number of passengers, so if several people in your group use a wheelchair, you typically need to book several vehicles.
Our wheelchair-lift large coach seats up to 6 wheelchairs alongside regular seating, so everyone can ride in a single bus.
And because you book the operating company directly — no agency, no broker — there's no intermediary markup.
Moving the same group often costs noticeably less overall as a result.

How It Works

From enquiry to boarding

One team supports you the whole way through.

01

Request a quote

Tell us your group size, wheelchair count and route through the fare simulator or by contacting us directly. We reply the same day in most cases.

02

Tell us about the wheelchair

For an electric or larger custom wheelchair, send us the dimensions in advance. Our own team can also help you plan for boarding.

03

We confirm your vehicle & seating

We match the seating plan to your number of wheelchairs — from 1 up to 6 — and confirm the layout for the day.

04

Board via the lift

Board comfortably via the electric lift; moving to a regular seat afterward is optional. Luggage goes in the trunk.

Where We Operate

Based in Osaka & at Kansai Airport

Osaka

Our wheelchair-lift large coach is based in Osaka and can be dispatched across the Osaka/Kansai area.

Kansai Airport

Our wheelchair-lift microbus is based at Kansai Airport — convenient for airport pickups and Kansai sightseeing.

Beyond Kansai

Requests outside the Kansai area are welcome, but may include a repositioning charge — please ask us for a quote.

Loading

Loading luggage & wheelchairs

Large Coach Trunk

The underfloor trunk can hold a standard wheelchair unfolded. With larger groups, some passengers move to a regular seat after boarding, freeing their wheelchair to go in the trunk.
Suitcase capacity differs from a standard large coach because the lift and wheelchair space use part of the trunk — please ask us in advance.

Microbus

The wheelchair-lift microbus has no underfloor trunk. All luggage is carried inside the cabin.

Boarding Space

Lift boarding needs room for both the lift itself and for the wheelchair to manoeuvre — roughly 2 m clear along the side of the bus. Let us know your pickup point in advance so we can check access.

Why Choose Us

No Agency, Direct Booking

You book with Aogaki directly — no travel agency or broker in between, so there's no intermediary markup.

Support From Quote To Boarding

Questions about how the lift works, or bringing your own mobility equipment? Our own staff handle it directly, start to finish.

FAQ

Common questions

Can carers or family ride in the same bus?
Yes. Carers, family and support staff can travel alongside wheelchair users, within the vehicle's total capacity.
Do you accept electric wheelchairs?
In many cases, yes — it depends on size and weight. Please tell us the wheelchair's dimensions and weight in advance so we can confirm.
Which areas can you serve?
Our lift vehicles are based in Osaka and at Kansai Airport, covering the Osaka/Kansai region. Requests outside Kansai are welcome to ask about, though a repositioning charge may apply.
Can I bring a suitcase on the wheelchair-lift large coach?
Because the trunk can hold a standard wheelchair unfolded, suitcase capacity is different from a standard large coach. Tell us your group size, number of wheelchairs and amount of luggage in advance and we'll confirm what fits.
How is the fare calculated?
Fares depend on distance, time and group size, and lift vehicles may carry a surcharge versus a standard coach. Use the fare simulator for an estimate, or contact us directly.
How many people can charter a bus?
From one person upward — though for a single passenger, per-person cost is naturally higher, so groups get better value.
